Protected Characteristics Rendell Primary School welcomes all children and their families without discrimination. In our approach to the design and delivery of our curriculum, we take our responsibilities to comply with the Equalities Act 2010 very seriously. Through a range of texts, we teach the Equality Act 2010 to all of our pupils in a child friendly way, discussing all of the protected characteristics during each child’s school career as appropriate. Children are taught from Early Years onwards to recognise and accept difference and diversity in the school and their communities.
